There are hundreds of online yoga classes. Before you pay for any of them, ours included, check these seven things. We built our own classes around this list.
A teacher who can see you can correct a risky posture. A recorded video can't.
With 50 people on screen, nobody is really watched. Look for about 10 or fewer. Ours: up to 8.
Ask where they trained: a recognised course such as S-VYASA's Yoga Instructor's Course, YCB/QCI certification, RYT-200 or a degree in yoga therapy.
Good teachers support your doctor's care and never promise cures or a fixed number of kilos.
Classes at fixed times in your time zone make a habit much easier to keep.
Try a class before paying, and avoid long contracts you can't get out of.
The price per class should be on the website, not only on a call.
